Just a quick reminder that Master Gee’s is closed for Remembrance Day, Tuesday, November 11th. We hope you’ll take the opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices that many Canadians have made to safeguard our freedom and way of life.

The overwhelming popularity of our Monday & Wednesday night All Belts Classes has made for a very busy Dojo! That’s why beginning September 29, our Monday and Wednesday All Belts classes for Adults and Juniors will be pushed back to start at 7:45 p.m. The Fight Fit and Little Tigers schedule will remain unchanged.

By allowing an extra 15-minute buffer between classes, we hope to address issues with parking, crowding in the viewing area and time for students to warm up prior to class.

Thanks for being patient while we looked for a solution that would work for everyone!

Starting September 29th:

Monday/Wednesday: Adult All Belts 7:45 – 8:30 p.m.

Monday/Wednesday: Junior All Belts 7:45 – 8:30 p.m.

Beginning September 18, we’re adding Fight Fit classes back to our Thursday class schedule. We’d love to see you at any one of our four weekly classes for a kick butt workout!

There is a new Leadership weapon for the summer: Escrima Sticks.

Escrima is a traditional martial art of the Philippines that emphasizes weapon-based fighting with sticks, knives and other bladed weapons. The Filipino word “Escrima” originally comes the Spanish word for fencing (esgrima). Escrima sticks — also known as yantok — are the most basic and common weapon used.

You can purchase a pair of Escrima sticks from Miss Tasha at the front desk. The cost is $30/pair plus tax.

Reminder: All students must have their mouth guards in order to practice weapons.
