Are you interested in getting your first taste of competitive martial arts? Or are you a previous competitor who’s looking for more experience and more fun?

We have two great events coming up:

Master Gee’s Fight for Fun In-house Tournament

Saturday, April 23
10:00 a.m. sharp – around 3:00 p.m.
Master Gee’s Black Belt Academy

A fun event for Master Gee’s students that offers something for everyone, from Little Tigers to Adult Black Belts. Parents are encouraged to help out as officials; see the volunteer list at the front desk.

Additional details and photos from last year’s Fight for Fun Tournament can be found here.

Canadian Martial Arts Federation Provincial Championships

Saturday, May 14
Kamloops, BC

Training for competition
Leading up to these events, regular classes will include skill-building games to start preparing students for competition.

We also encourage students to add our time-limited competition training classes to their training schedule. These classes focus on building competitive skills and preparing students to compete in the CMAF tournament in May. Only students who have attended competitive classes may attend the CMAF competition.

Junior Competition Class
Fridays at 5:00 p.m. on the Dragon floor

Adult/Teen Competition Class
Thursdays at 8:15 p.m. on the Main floor

The next belt promotion is coming up fast – Thursday March 10th, Friday March 11th and Saturday March 12th. Please note the new promotion times for Saturday, which are listed on your belt promotion applications below:

  1. Tiger application form
  2. Junior Beginner application form
  3. Junior Intermediate application form
  4. Junior Advanced application form
  5. Teen and Adult application form
