As you may know, the Canadian Martial Arts Federation (CMAF) is holding a tournament this Saturday in Kamloops – we’ve had posters up around the dojo, and our instructors have discussed it with students and family members for several weeks.

Most of our staff and many of our students are taking part again this year and representing Master Gee’s Black Belt Academy.

To allow our competitors to prepare and travel to the event, the Academy will be closed on Friday May 2nd and Saturday May 3rd.

To those of you who are participating in the tournament, we wish you the best of luck!

Belt promotion time is here again, students and family members. The next promotions take place Thursday May 22nd, Friday May 23rd, and Saturday May 24th. If you need to, you can download a copy of your promotion form(s) listed below.

Please remember that your opinion of Master Gee’s Black Belt Academy is important to us and take the time to fill out the feedback section. We want to continuously improve our academy and all sincere feedback is much appreciated! You can also provide feedback online.

Just a friendly reminder that there will be no regular classes over the long weekend.

That means the academy will be closed on Friday April 18th, and won’t resume regular classes until Tuesday April 22nd.

However, the special Competition Workshop class will still be held on Saturday April 19th at 1:00pm.

Hope you all enjoy the long weekend!

Just a quick reminder that this Saturday’s competition workshop class (April 12th) has been moved to Friday (April 11th) at 7pm.

See you there!
